The work, undertaken as a subcontractor to Raywalt Construction, consisted of installation of approximately 220 meters (700 ft.) of 1800mm reinforced concrete pipe beneath Taxiway Alpha and Runway 12-30 at the Edmonton International Airport.  This project was particularly challenging as all typical airport activities remained operational during operations which lasted approximately six weeks.
